Ear Piercing by Alco with .308 Big Bore Bullets
Congratulations! Michael Hood recently sent us a photo of the Texas hog pictured above, that he shot using an Alco .308 150-grain flat base Big Bore bullet with his Texan air rifle. He thought he’d try the slugs for the hog problem he has on his property. He said, “It was clean humaine shot right behind the ear. The hog dropped immediately, and the bullet didn’t pass through.” He had tried other slugs which didn’t work allowing the hogs to escape.
Alco .308 big bore airgun bullets are accurate and deadly. Upon impact, the tip separates from the slug making for good terminal ballistics. We appreciate Michael letting us share his story and his kind words about our product.
